July 23, 2008 Ord, NE – The Loup Basin Resource, Conservation, and Development Center (RC&D) has announced that local FFA Chapter members will be conducting a Used Tire Collection Drive.

The Event will travel through the Loup River Basin over a two week period in September, and will have locations for drop off in Broken Bow, Greeley, Loup City and Ord.

There is no limit to the number of tires that you may bring.  Volunteers are asking that you kindly provide them with a tire count, and that all tires must be off the rims.  In addition they are asking that no dealers or commercial operators drop off old tires.

As a bonus offer, if you bring in a used cell phone to recycle, you can choose a prize.  (Prizes will be subject to availability.)
