MISSION
Promote quality rural tourism and encourage historic preservation along the Loup Rivers Scenic Byway (Highway 11/91) corridor.

PURPOSE
Educate, encourage, and develop tourism to diversify the economy and to provide recreational activities for residents and travelers while maintaining our rural heritage, character, and values

OBJECTIVES OF THE LOUP RIVERS SCENIC BYWAY

• Create awareness in the local residents of the unique resources of the Byway and opportunities it creates.
• Support regional cooperation within the byway's area for rural economic development.
• Develop the best highway and road system for regional economic development and tourism attractions.
• Encourage travelers to stop and enjoy the natural scenic beauty and leisure opportunities of the Byway through promotional efforts.
• Attract travelers from outside the Byway region by providing information of the recreation, history, scenic or unusual, cultural, and archeological sites along the highway.
• Research and apply for funding for Byway projects and promotion.
• Partner with adjoining Byways to promote common resources and history

• Quarterly Newsletter
• Opportunity to participate in monthly networking meetings.
• Continued promotion and marketing of the Loup Rivers Scenic Byway.
• The Loup Rivers Scenic Byway organization meets the federal Highway Administration guidelines for grants requiring 20% matching funds.
• Increased economic development within your and other Highway 11/91 communities.
